Returning your sleep test device

Sending your home sleep test device back promptly and securely ensures we can begin analyzing your data without delay. Follow these simple steps to prepare and ship your device correctly.

1. Power Down & Disconnect

After waking up, press the power button on your recorder once to stop the study. Wait until all LEDs go dark, then disconnect any sensors, cables, and the power adapter. Handling the device only when it’s fully powered off protects the internal memory and prevents data corruption.

2. Clean & Dry Sensors (Optional)

If your kit includes reusable sensors—such as a chest belt or pulse oximeter clip—wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove any sweat or oils. Do not immerse in water. Ensuring sensors are dry prevents mold growth during transit and keeps your kit hygienic for the next patient.

3. Reassemble & Inspect

Place the recorder and all sensors back into the original foam cutouts in the box. Double-check that tubing is coiled without kinks and that small parts (cannulas, adhesive tabs) are tucked into their compartments. Inspect the box and inner packaging for any damage—report tears or crushed corners to our support team before shipping.

4. Seal with Pre-Paid Label

Affix the pre-paid return shipping label over the opening of the box. If the original label has expired or fallen off, use the enclosed replacement label. Close the box lid securely with the provided packing tape strips, ensuring no gaps remain where the device could slip out.

5. Drop-Off or Schedule Pickup

You have two easy options:

  • Drop-Off: Take the package to any authorized shipping center (listed on your label). No postage or fees are due.
  • Schedule Pickup: Contact the carrier via phone or online—your pre-paid label lets them pick up from your door at no extra cost.

6. Tracking & Confirmation

Your return label includes a tracking number. Save this number and check the carrier’s website to confirm delivery. Once we receive your device, we’ll send an email confirmation and begin processing your sleep data, usually within 24 hours of arrival.

7. What to Do If You Encounter Issues

If your package is lost in transit or the label is damaged, contact our support team right away with your tracking number. We’ll issue a new label or initiate a trace with the carrier to locate your box.

By following these steps—powering down correctly, repacking carefully, and using the pre-paid label—you’ll ensure your home sleep test device arrives safely and promptly for analysis. Thank you for your cooperation!
